Queens Stand up

"Queens niggas, run you niggas. Ask Russell Simmons"-Nas. On that note nuff said. Queens has brought a lot of heat to the Hiphop culture. Acts like A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Run Dmc, Capone & Noreaga, LL. Cool J & Mobb Deep (just to name a few) have made permanent stamps in the game. These Mc's have come from all areas of Queens like Queensbridge, Jamaica & Lefrak City Corona Queens. We've had some hot artists come from "The Frak" like Noreaga from Capone N Noreaga & Akinyele. History has show that when an artist comes out of Queens be prepared to hear him/her for a Long time.

On that note, The CityStreetz would like to share the wealth on the next hot artist coming out of Queens.. Lefrak City to be exact. Joel Mark'Que. All I can say is this is how we do it!! Video shot in Japan. How many hood videos you see come out of Japan? Nevermind Ghetto fabulous, Queens is Hood Fabulous!!
This is the video for the single off Joel's Mixtape 100. I'm a tough critique when it comes to music & I must say this track has a nice bounce to it & the video has a nice dark vibe to it. Tough, in my book.. but you be the judge...

Ok so Im watching Dancing with the Stars one night (boredom took over on a serious note) & stumbled across a new show called "Castle."

Castle follows Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, a famous mystery novelist who has killed off his main character in his book series and has writer's block. He is called in to help the NYPD solve a copy-cat murder based on one of his novels. Stana Katic co-stars as Detective Kate Beckett. Castle, who becomes interested in Beckett as a potential character for a new book series, uses his connections at the mayor's office and receives permission to continue accompanying Beckett while investigating cases. Castle decides to use Beckett as the model for the main character of his next book series starring "Nikki Heat". Beckett, an avid reader of Castle's books, initially disapproves of having Castle shadow her on her cases, but later warms up and recognizes Castle as a useful resource in solving crimes.Castle is a blend of drama, comedy, and romantic tension.
