Edith Haisman

Edith Eileen Haisman (née Brown) (27 October 1896 – 20 January 1997) was one of the last remaining and oldest survivors of the sinking of the RMS Titanic in April 1912. She was the last survivor born in the 19th Century, though seven younger survivors outlived her. Titanic's character Rose which was played by Kate Winslet was based on Edith Haisman.





Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore "TeddyRoosevelt (pronounced /ˈroʊzəvɛlt/ ROE-zə-velt;[2][3] October 27, 1858 – January 6, 1919) was the 26th President of the United States. He is noted for his energetic personality, range of interests and achievements, leadership of the Progressive Movement, and his "cowboy" image and robust masculinity.[4]He was a leader of the Republican Party and founder of the short-lived Progressive ("Bull Moose") Party of 1912. Before becoming President (1901–1909) he held offices at the municipalstate, and federal level of government. Roosevelt's achievements as a naturalistexplorerhunterauthor, and soldier are as much a part of his fame as any office he held as a politician.




John Gotti

John Joseph Gotti, Jr (October 27, 1940 - June 10, 2002) was the Boss of the New York City Gambino crime family after the murder of the previous boss Paul Castellano. John Gotti was the most powerful crime boss during his era. He became widely known for his outspoken personality and flamboyant style that eventually caused his downfall.
He was known by the media as "The Dapper Don" because he wore expensive clothes and "The Teflon Don" because the majority of attempts to convict him resulted in either a hung jury or an acquittal.
In 1992, Gotti was convicted of 13 murdersconspiracy to commit murder, racketeeringobstruction of justiceillegal gamblingextortiontax evasion, and loansharkingwhere he was sentenced to life in prison without parole. He died there 10 years later of cancer.



Rest in Peace

Robert Ray "Rod" Roddy (September 28, 1937 – October 27, 2003) was an American radio and television announcer.[1] He is primarily known for his role as an offstage announcer on game shows. Among the shows that he announced are the CBS game shows Press Your Luck and The Price Is Right. On the latter, he succeeded original announcer Johnny Olson and held the role from 1986 until his death in 2003.
